We Are Here For You

Whether you are facing amputation, recovering, or years into your journey, Less Leg More Heart provides free peer mentorship, holistic care, fitness programs, and home accessibility support. Everything is customized to you, where you are right now

How We Help

Our team provides personalized, ongoing support across four areas. Everything is free, and nothing requires insurance.

A Peer Mentor Who Gets It

H.E.L.P.S. Program

You will be matched with a trained peer mentor who is an amputee themselves. They understand the physical challenges, the emotional weight, and the questions you do not know how to ask yet. Your mentor walks beside you for as long as you need them

Fitness & Physical Activity Funding

H.E.A.R.T.S. Program

Staying active after amputation is critical for physical recovery and mental health, but the costs add up fast. We fund gym memberships, adaptive sports equipment, running blades, personal training, and other fitness resources so cost is never the barrier

Care Packages & Holistic Wellness

H.O.P.E. Program

Insurance leaves gaps. We fill them. We provide care packages with friction cream, CBD ointments, comfort items, and funding for holistic goods and services that help with pain, skin irritation, and the day-to-day realities of living with a prosthetic

Home Safety & Accessibility

H.O.M.E. Program

Coming home from the hospital is a big transition. We help with ramps, grab bars, shower seats, doorway modifications, and other changes that make your home safe and livable. Our goal is for you to feel independent and comfortable in your own space
