ABOUT US
What Is Less Leg More Heart —
and Why It Matters
Less Leg More Heart is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting amputees beyond the hospital doors. Born from lived experience, we know that losing a limb isn’t just a physical loss — it impacts every part of a person’s life: emotionally, financially, mentally, and socially.
HEARTS — Peer Mentorship
HELPS — Medical Advocacy
HOPE — Holistic Wellness
HOME — Post-Discharge Services
We’ve helped thousands of people reduce pain, improve mobility, avoid isolation, and even find new purpose by becoming volunteers themselves. Whether it’s a running blade for a child, groceries during recovery, or just someone who truly understands — your support helps us show amputees that they are never alone.
Every truck pulled, every dollar raised, and every ounce of community today directly helps someone rebuild a life filled with possibility.
