  • This seminar is designed for NASM and AFAA certified personal trainers, group fitness instructors, and coaches who want to expand their knowledge and skills to better serve clients with disabilities, limb loss, or medical conditions. (Personal Trainers certified by other companies can submit our course objectives and certificate of completion for consideration of CEU credit award.)

  • You will earn 2 hours of CEUs (Continuing Education Units) approved by both NASM and AFAA upon successful completion of this course.

  • The 2-hour didactic will cover disability sensitivity and terminology, functional impacts of common impairments (amputation, spinal cord injury, neuromuscular, sensory), communication strategies with adaptive clients, barriers to access, and evidence-based training outcomes.
